New look, new company, new year

This should be an interesting year...Lots of things are changing; some for the better and some for the worse, but all together it should be fun to watch. I've always tried to be the one who doesn't mind change and tries to roll with the punches. But lately I've been worrying all too much about things that are completely out of my control. I've also tried to be the one to keep up with politics and world events. American politics are making me more and more sick to my stomach and world events look like someone has a checklist of Bible Prophesies and it is their goal to make them all occur, except the people that are making them happen probably haven't ever touched a Bible. Interesting. With politics in America, I feel like I'm watching a soccer match in Mexico that is getting too close to out of control. Not only are the two teams on the field at each others throats, but the fans are starting to follow suite. I just want to watch a good game. I've been to games where I was scared that I would get involved in a fight and all I want is for everybody to calm down and play the game. To take my analogy into the reality, I'm scared, and I just want everybody to get along. But it won't happen.

In Matthew 12:25, Jesus says "Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand." True, very true.

How 'bout an easier change to cope with. :) Google has bought Blogger.com and there are a few changes. It isn't that hard to do and it is easier to manage and all that jazz. The only thing you have to do is start a Google account. When you go to the Blogger.com like you normally do, there is a box on the main page that says switch to the new blogger, click that and it will take you through the steps. Like I said you will have to start a Google account and that will be your new log-in. It should be pretty easy and I think it is faster than the old. If you have any questions on it, you can just ask. But I think to comment on a page with the new blogger, you have to switch your own blog. And since every new blog we add are of the new animal, we will all have to change if we want to comment. The two newest are Jami's blog and Brandon's blog!!! Since Brandon and Rachel moved to Texas, they really wanted to join in on all the blogging fun! So change is inevitable. But don't panic, this is probably the easiest change you will deal with this year.

Family Moves

Well, we have had a few family moves, one of which might spark a new family member or members to join us in the ever so updated (define:criticism) blogging family world. But I'm not complaining, hearing how someone is once every three months is definatley better than hearing how they are every three years. Can I get an amen? Jami and I have also going through some moving stuff, but not our home or anything, but our church. It has definatley been an interesting journey and we do miss a lot of people at Fountainhead. But we are definatley enjoying our new church family. As I put it, it is like going back to youth group for me. AJ and Joe are there, and my old Youth Pastor is the head Pastor here, with many (>10) others from the ole' Fountainhead youth group.

On another note, our laptop crashed and we lost tons of photos videos of brand new kittens that we have and lots of other stuff...sucks bad. But life will go on, other kittens will be born, and more trips will be had. I guess the moral of the story here would be ("don't do sugar", wait a minute, am I the only one who remembers that movie we made with Tim and Grandma and Grampas house, or is it just me) always back up your stuff. These words are thrown around a lot in the computer world, but I never listened, and I got smited, or is it smitten. Either way, not a fun time. I replaced the hard drive and the beast is now alive, but I'm not sure for how long. All I know is that I need to back up my pictures, that is the only thing I miss.
